no more olympics!
i opened this window to type something yesterday afternoon, and i forgot. actually i think what happened was that i opened my itunes and there was an update and the update window stole my blogger window. i guess i forgot all about it after that. as if the update was that amazing or something. ha!
i am so glad today came and is now over. today was our winter olympics sales pitch meetings at PVCC. i got this event dropped in my lap about 3 weeks ago and i ended up throwing the thing together in that amount of time. mind you, it was successful and i got so many compliments on how great of a job i did, but man i thought this day would never get here.
we did sell 2 high dollar advertising packages today! and there's about 8 that will be closed by the end of the week. that's exciting!
after the last session (there were 5) most of us went to west end to get a drink and celebrate. it is so awesome working with such great people that are also fun to hang out with. and i should add that the company was paying for the drinks.....so there can't be any complaints. i learned our PVCC account number too....so if you ever want to have lunch with me at the country club, you just let me know. haha! we have a required amount of money that should be spent in the restaurant and we realized today that we're not using it. hmm....now that the LSM and i know about that, i don't think it will be much of a problem.
i dunno what else to talk about. i'm exhausted. my mind has been thinking olympics for who knows how long and now that it's over, i'm just mush. all i want is a hot bath and a good nights sleep.
i watched this awesome Kanye West show that i recorded from MTV (can you believe that? a music program on mtv!) last weekend. i don't remember what it was called...but it was like storytellers. i just love him and his music so much. it gets me all hyped up!
branson was productive. i got a ton of clothes for cooler weather (where's fall and winter at anyway?) i love those outlet malls there...or at least the one with all the awesome stores. i'll definitely be going back in the spring to stock up again. the amount of senior citizens there cracks me up though. like everywhere you turn - another tour bus of old people! ahh! can you imagine what that place will be like in 40 years? John Mayer appearing at the andy williams moon river theatre! i'll be telling my grandkids about how i used to go to branson when i was younger and would laugh at all the blue hairs, then i'd be one of them. haha!
alright...i'm off to relax. got a few martinis in me and a bunch of cookies so i'm kinda buzzing. whether it's sugar or alcohol that's causing the buzz is debatable.
love you guys! thanks for the comments! you know i eat those things up!
