lazy saturday

you know that Chronic(what?)cles of Narnia video is actually called Lazy Sunday. too bad i won't be rappin for yah today.

i just want everyone to know that i went walking today. not running...10 weeks off of running doesn't exactly allow me to jump right back in, but still. i climbed the huge hill on my street and jogged the way back down it. new years resolution #1 is half-way in effect. i resolve to go to the gym tues-thursday instead of eating lunch out with everyone from work.

of course, the wind was kinda chilly and i'm sure that didn't help my cold much, but i have the rest of the day to whine about being sick.

i started writing something yesterday afternoon, but we had a birthday party for the boss and the guy who gets on my nerves, so i got distracted in mid sentence and never went back.

does it not make you uncomfortable when a guy discusses his wife's birth control and cycle in front of you? the guy who gets on my nerves at work did that twice this week. i thought kristie and i were going to die. and i can't say anything b/c i'm being nice to him! AHHGHAH!

my nose hurts.

there are so many basketball games on today! the conference season has begun! woO! i doubt i'll watch them all, but it's nice that there's something on besides NFL football. *snore*

i know no one else pays this much attention, but have you ever noticed how the commentators for JP Sports basketball are also contracted to work for CBS? the guy with the grey hair that wears eyeliner is doing this Florida/Georgia game...and i know i've seen him during march madness and during something lame like figure skating and golf. and Tim Brando does studio work for CBS during football season, and he announces JP games i think for the ACC. man i know too much about this stuff.

i dunno what else to talk about. the drama is being kept to a minimum since i've spent a lot of time sleeping this week. i keep wondering if i ruined any chance of seeing phil again since i freaked out like always. we still talk and all...and it's not totally weird, just a little different. i almost said something last night, but he wasn't paying attention and i really didn't want to start something. patience, young grasshopper. what will be, will be. he'll read this and be like "whatever laurie. chill out." haha

alright, that's my update. hope you have a relaxing weekend. go out and enjoy this spring weather. just don't light any fires. i would hate to see you on the news for burning down an entire city.
