taped before a live studio audience

i watch the cosby show like every night. it's a good show! good quality programming. i remember most of the episodes, and it's funny to see all these people who later starred in something else. yesterday they had the girl that was the sister on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. and Sandra's husband (Alvin)'s mother was played by the same lady who was the principal on City Guys. and i also saw Goldberg from the Mighty Ducks movies.

i know shows are still taped in front of a studio audience. which ones though? they don't say that over the credits anymore. unless the camera pans and you see people (which of course could be cut in after taping), you don't know if it's fake laughter or real. and even if there's an audience, don't they usually add some extra laughs in case the audience doesn't react in the right way?

Joe Scarborough is in california this week. he's interviewing celebrities and bashing their political views and stuff. is it bad that celebrities use their power to promote their agendas? i don't think we should prevent them from speaking their minds. there is the first amendment and stuff that's supposed to allow that. if the person who is speaking just happens to have a million cameras on them because of their status, why should they keep their mouths closed? and why should we hate (boycott/slander/libel) those who actually do speak their mind? if you had the power, would you want people trying to destroy you because they don't agree? it's free speech folks. that's one of the bricks this country is founded upon. if you want to shut celebrities up, then why don't we shut up Bill O'Reilly or Joe Scarborough? they are celebrities now.

i'm having a problem with tattle tales today too. my friend at work, Lindsey, wasn't feeling so well today. but she wanted to keep working because she was sick from work almost all last week and she's behind. plus next friday is supposed to be her last day and she doesn't want to leave a mess for whoever has to pick up her job. so we were minding our own business, working along, and the stupid Hick lady calls the boss and tells him that Lindsey is sick. well my boss does not want any sick people up there (b/c of the cancer lady and himself who is also ailing from a terminal disease) so he tells hick lady to tell lindsey to go home. was that her place to call the boss and tell him to make lindsey to go home? i don't think so. and once she left (angry and crying, mind you) the stupid Hick lady had the nerve to call the boss back and ask him if she should tell Lindsey to not come tomorrow either. of course he says yes, so stupid hick lady calls Lindsey SIX TIMES (b/c she doesn't answer the phone b/c she's at the doctor's office) to tell her not to come in tomorrow. isn't that a bit extreme? i hate that stupid bitch. i wish she was the one leaving and not Lindsey.

and that's the way i see it.
